You’ve asked and here it is! ACTING FOR IMPROV INTRO, an 8-week intensive Acting Workshop. Each class is 2.5 hours. This is a one-time opportunity for FALL 2024. Tracy Connor and Susan Moser are team teaching this 8-week course. With 2 instructors in the room, we are aimed at delivering a professional and nuanced skillset for improvisors who are yearning for something “MORE” from their stage time. We will dive into scene study with scripts from plays and TV/FILM, learn basic stagecraft, tackle stage combat, understand voice work for stage, learn and implement Viewpoints, and expand and deepen stage time with Mime and Movement Practices in Rhythms/Qualities/Structures and Body Systems. The end result will be exposure to and development of professional performance skills.
